So sorry, but don't have much time this week! Just want to say that everyone is doing pretty good around here! Found a new investigator this week too! It's a guy named Hiroshi and he is the best friend of our ward mission leader! He was a bit nervous at first but as we taught, you could feel the spirit and see him begin to understand! The spirit really is the best teacher. He's going to be baptized in March.
Another cool thing, is that our stake is having an olympic tournament every Friday with all the wards. Our ward is hosting all of it! It was so much fun to watch the ward get so excited and invite all their friends and less-actives! Me and my companion got to play volleyball and basketball (my first time playing basketball and I actually made a basket!) and it was a LOT of fun! The daughter of our landlady (who also feeds us) Mechi even came too! Her family are WAAAAY catholic, but little by little :))
Just to end, a little scripture I found! It's in Alma 1:25. It talks about how the members of the church of God faced a LOT of persecution from the people who didn't believe. But how they moved forward, steadfast and immovable. I love these two words. It reminds me of how the winds of the world want to blow us every which way. But when we trust in the Lord, we can become immovable and steadfast in ALL things. This chapter really taught me a lot and I loved it! The scriptures are so awesome!
Well, Love you all and hope you have a FANTASTIC week!
